Who Is Aylin Sagay?
Aylin Sagay was born in Adana and raised in Izmir. She graduated from Gazi University in 1994 with a degree in Public Relations. In 1997, she moved to the United States and earned a master’s degree in Publishing Management from Drexel University.
Aylin worked for 23 years as an Administrative and Finance Manager in Drexel University’s School of Biomedical Engineering. During that time, she played an active role in hiring faculty and researchers, interviews, job postings, and workplace processes. She also gained experience with J-1 and H-1 visas and green card processes.
From 2006 to 2017, she served as an administrator and editor for TASSA (Turkish American Scientists and Scholars Association). She continues to serve as the organization’s treasurer. Since 2012, she has served on the board of the Turkish American Friendship Society of the US and has held the rotating presidency since 2019.
Aylin earned her life coaching certification in 2011. Alongside her academic and administrative career, she has guided Turkish professionals, academics, and people seeking a new beginning in America through life and career coaching.
With her academic and professional connections in America, experience with the university system, and many years of leadership experience, she guides clients through career planning, job searches, and adapting to a new life.
